Albin has good disease resistance and doesn't go woody or hollow in the middle as some other varieties can. Winter hardy, mid-early variety for autumn harvest (140 days). Resistant to bolting
SOWING Sow indoors: February - April Harvest: October - December Height: 20 - 24 inches / 50 - 60cm Plant Spacing: 18 inches / 45 cm Temperature: 20-25C Depth: 1/8 inch / 0.4 cm Sow seeds from February to April at 4mm (1/8in) deep in a good seed compost. When large enough to handle, transplant the seedlings individually into 7cm (3in) pots. |
