Sunflower Mongolian Giant producing flower heads up to 45cm (18in) across with individual seeds up to 3½cm (1½in) long. As well as producing large yellow flower heads, Sunflower Mongolian Giant will be the envy of your neighbours as it grows up to 420cm (14ft) tall.
SOWING Season: Annual Sow: late February - June Height: 4.2 m / 13.8 ft Blooms Time: August - September Environment: Full sun Water: Medium Others: Flowers are edible Ideal for: Cottage gardens, wildlife gardens Sow directly outside as early as possible to miss heavy frosts (mid-April through mid-May). Seeds can be scattered very thinly over the surface of the soil or can be placed into the soil in a block arrangement. Sow 5cm (2in) deep, at 20-25C (68-77F) . When large enough to handle, thin to 45cm (18in) apart.
