The DR30 delivers a conservatively rated 40 watts per channel that sounds like quite a bit more. The foundation of any amplifier's performance lies with its power supply. The DR30's substantial toroidal transformer provides plenty of rock-steady current for when your music's dynamic peaks demand it. Micro surface-mount circuit technology reduces signal paths to the absolute minimum. The result is a rich and highly detailed soundstage that will bring your music to life.
Sound quality
While it's possible to point to the odd specific area of performance where this system falls short of high-end performance, it is still remarkably capable, given the price. What's most surprising is how it generates a real sense of musical scale, complete with striking dynamics, full frequency range and extended images in all directions.
You just don't expect such assurance from budget kit. It's not so much that the equipment is diminutive, as plenty of high-end firms have packaged kit in small cases, it's more that what's inside is simple and low-cost that causes the surprise.

The DR30 comes with a separate dock for your iPod or iPhone® with built-in noise-canceling circuitry to ensure pristine sound quality. The dock charges your player while you listen, and it enables control through the included remote.
