Australian Mintabie Opal - Multicolor glow (see video).  6.35tcw Carat Mintabie Opal Gemstone with a unique multicolor (almost rainbow) halo color across the face. Nice colors in this gem, but very difficult to capture the color on camera.     This stone would make a very beautiful pendant or ring stone. The gem is 16mm long x 10mm wide x 4.5mm thick. It is oval shaped with a very slight dome, almost flat face and flat sides, ideal for and inset setting. A solid gem (not a doublet). The gem is semi-crystal and in person will have more reds / greens when any light hits it.  I tried to rotate the stone under light to give an idea of ​​the colors and glow in the stone. The color flash extends across most but not all of the face. (Photos are close ups taken on a phone under LED lighting)  SEE VIDEO
