Cornelis van Poelenburgh (Utrecht, 21 janvier 1594/1595 – Utrecht, 12 août 1667), est un peintre de paysage néerlandais (Provinces-unies) du siècle d'or. Première génération de paysagistes néerlandais italianisants. il fait son apprentissage auprès du peintre maniériste Abraham Bloemaert, avant de partir, vers 1617, parfaire son art à Rome. Il y restera près de dix ans, et compte parmi les fondateurs des Bentvueghels, sorte de groupe d'entraide composé principalement d'artistes originaires des Pays-Bas du Nord et du Sud – il reçoit parmi eux le surnom de « Satyr » (Satyre).

Cornelis van Poelenburgh or Cornelis van Poelenburch (1594 – 12 August 1667), was a Dutch landscape painter and draughtsman. He was the leading representative of the first generation of Dutch landscape painters who were active in Rome in the early 17th century. He was known for small-scale paintings depicting Italianate landscapes with small figures enacting biblical or mythological scenes or in contemporary attire.
