One 4.0 Ounce Bottle of Hydro Algal Fertilizer About:  Hydro Algal Fertilizer is primarily used in the culturing of live phytoplankton, but can also be used directly in plant-only aquariums. By using the Guillard f/2 formula (recognized as an industry standard) as a growth medium, along with Mercer of Montana cultured phytoplankton, and pure saltwater, you can expect exponential growth and longer viability of your cultures, whether batch or continuous. One 4.0 ounce bottle of Hydro Algal Fertilizer is sufficient to inoculate over 60 gallons of culture. There is no need to refrigerate contents; however, once opened, remaining fertilizer should be kept in a cool and dark location to prolong efficacy up to 24 months. Hydro Algal Fertilizer contains vitamins B12, Thiamin, and Biotin, and no silicates. F/2 Dosage for Phytoplankton Culture:  .75ml of Hydro Algae Fertilizer added to 2 liters of culture (clean saltwater + phytoplankton).   Warning: The contents have NOT been studied for internal/external use on other than saltwater/freshwater aquaria.
