Ezem COEfficient 6600 Endoscopic CO2 Insufflator
Good condition Working TESTED
Features: The CO2EFFICIENT Endoscopic Insufflator System is designed to deliver CO2 into the gastrointestinal (GI) tract for the purpose of distending the anatomy when used in conjunction with a gastrointestinal endoscope for direct endoscopic visualization.
How the CO2EFFICIENT Endoscopic Insufflator System Works The CO2EFFICIENT Endoscopic Insufflator System operates by administering CO2 at a free flow rate of three liters per minute (LPM), and then monitoring the endoscopic pressure. A mode of operation is selected by the operator to change the rate that the flow of carbon dioxide insufflation is delivered to the endoscopic system.
The clinician will use the air/water valve on the endoscope and visual feedback of the endoscopic system to manually distend the GI tract with CO2. Featuring proprietary “intelligent” software, the CO2EFFICIENT carbon dioxide pumping system senses when CO2 is not required by the clinician and has the capability to reduce its flow.
What Are the Clinical Benefits of CO2 vs Room Air? CO2 is introduced into the GI tract and absorbed 160 times faster than the nitrogen in room air. Patients who are distended during CO2 gastrointestinal endoscopy will promptly eliminate CO2 via respiration. The immediate impact from the use of CO2 during endoscopic procedures is faster patient recovery times, as well as lower postprocedural pain and discomfort.
