Rare pichet anthropomorphe en terre cuite ZANDE Jolie cruche, visiblement ancienne On peut voir les mêmes scarifications typiques sur le corps du récipient illustré dans Félix, page203, fig19. Les poteries Zande sont fabriquées par les femmes, tout comme celles des Mangbetu voisins.
Les Zande vivent essentiellement dans le nord du Congo RDC, mais aussi dans l'ouest du Soudan du Sud ainsi qu'en République centrafricaine

Zande pottery is made by women, as is that of neighboring Mangbetu.
The Zande live mainly in northern Congo DRC, but also in the west of the South Sudan and in the Central African Republic
