Description

Creoseal Plus Dark Brown

Creoseal is a non-biocidal oil based wood treatment, effective when applied to exterior timbers such as garden sheds, fences and trellis work. The oil based and Tar properties provides excellent surface water repellence and restricts weather damage to prolong the life of your timber .

Preparation

Ensure all timbers are structurally sound, dry and free from surface growths.

Timbers previously treated with Creosote, Creosote substitute or a solvent based wood preservative are compatible with Creoseal or painted timbers must be stripped back to bare wood before coating.

Application

Can be applied by brush, spray or dip methods. Apply lihberally, soaking the timber to achieve best results. Tools and equipment can be cleaned using White Spirit

Coverage

Depending on the texture and porosity of the timber to be treated, application of a single coat will cover at the rate of 8-10 square meters per litre.
