Instructions

• Mark the inner door edge for drilling of 25mm diameter hole. It is important that the hole should not be less than 147mm deep
• Mark out and recess the cylinder plate flush with the door edge. Insert cylinder ensuring that it is free. Then fix the plate with the screws provided. Adjust spring tension if necessary then close the door gently so that the anchor plate marks out door jam.
• turn anchor plate 90 degrees to the cylinder and withdraw at approximately 38mm insert template
• Insert the template between the chain links by releasing the anchor plate so that it is freely suspended. Recess the anchor plate and fix with the screws provided

Adjusting Procedure

• Fit the template as near to the cylinder plate as possible
• Remove the anchor plate
• Turn another plate clockwise to increase tension, or anti-clockwise to decrease tension
• Re-fix the anchor plate and remove the template
