Collection of 50 hand cut natural fire agate cabochons. They range in size and shape. Most have nice fire and colors that include gold, red, and green. The stones weigh 282 carats, including the cardboard backing. I am not sure of the net weight of the stones, but I am guessing that the cardboard weighs less than 30 carats. I have removed one teardrop shaped stone that I would consider an average size and it weighs about 4 carats. It is photographed next to a penny coin. Fire agate cabs typically sell for more than $1.00 per carat. My starting price is about 40 cents per carat, so take advantage of this great deal! I will be selling a collection of similar fire agate cabochons on eBay over the next 5 weeks or so.

Fire agate stones look good set in a variety of metals, including silver, gold, copper and brass. The stones are nicely cut and shaped and are ready to be set in jewelry or can be used for other craft applications.
