This is great for attracting bee swarms as this mix of attractants is formulated to mimic the naturally occurring scent of the Queen bee. This sale is for 3 1.5ml Vials for applying or placing into your chosen spot and find it more exact rather then then the tubes of similar stuff you see others use. I find you get a higher dispersal of the powerful scent and greater success. You need your own bait hive which is are easy to make from any old wooden box of about 20litre capacity a with an entrance hole about the size of a 20p piece. I get extra success using old brood boxes with a lid and base attached and a few frames of foundation or old brood comb inside. If this is not available then knock a box up out of some old shuttering ply. Then place out as soon as the weather warms and keep watching for action. I put a few drops on a piece of sponge or on the frames inside the box and a couple at the entrance the wood absorbs the very powerful scent and can be active for many months long after your own nose can detect it anymore so beware where you store boxes to. Best place to mount is with the entrance facing late afternoon soon and where the sun can warm the box and help disperse the scent. I don't claim other dont or do work I can only vouch for my own mix which has took years to get right. See the other pic above. I had a non beekeeping friend who was interested and could not believe this worked. This is a genuine picture where last year I put a few drops on a sponge in the bird box in their garden. Week later I topped it up with a bit more still getting disbelieve this works then 5days later I had a phone call in sheer panic as this swarm had just landed in the garden which when I arrived I took this genuine picture and I promptly removed the swarm. As a non beekeeping friend I was not asked to trial it again in their garden LOL!!! Its great fun experimenting with different box designs and materials then waiting for one of natures wonders. I'm not going to post videos and claim my lure is better then any others but all I can assure is it tried, tested and proved. Last summer I did a demo for someone who did not believe and put a few drops on a bird box attached to the wall. Every few days over a couple of weeks in June added a few more drops and low and behold the resulting picture is shown above!!!. Remember you cant catch what is not there to be caught and you need to be somewhere that has active bees but if you have these within a mile or so then try it and see!!!!. Remember to handle bees with care and I take no responsibility for accidents or damage occurred while using bee lures and please be sensitive to childrens play areas or sensitive neighbours.
