10 RF Tensolite-Carlisle Semi-Flex Coaxial Microwave SMA to N-Type 2.5mm Cables
This is a Brand New lot of 10 RF Tensolite-Carlisle Semi-Flex Coaxial Microwave SMA to N-Type 2.5mm Cables that have an Ultra-Low VSWR for a conformable cable, and passes frequencies up to DC-26.5 GHz. These are considered the finest conformable cables in the industry. These cables have SMA females on one end and terminated on the other is an N-Type connector male.
The cables:
Five 10" SMA to N-Type adapters. The N-Type connector is plated in heavy silver. Gold mating surfaces. If there's synthetic on these cables then it's PTFE/Teflon. The SMA connector is solid stainless with gold mating surfaces. It's a male.
Five 11" SMA to N-Type adapters. Exactly as above, just one inch longer.
These cables, including their terminations, have a distributor cost of $60-115/ea. Granted that's the cost for new, but the cables we are offering are near-new (if not brand new--see next paragraph), and less than 1/10th the distributor cost. Indeed, the value being offered here is unprecedented (even by the standards set by other eBay Sellers), and a cursory examination would reveal that our Tensolite cables are in far better condition. A textbook case where the "time to think about it" variable doesn't even enter into the buying equation.
Cable stats: Center conductor on all is silver-plated copper clad steel. Solid PTFE dielectric. Cu-Polyester foil outer braid and a jacket consisting of tin-filled high-strength wire braid. Impedance is 50 Ohms. 26.5 GHz; 62.000 GHz Fco cutoff. Insertion loss: 139.8 dB/100 Ft. @ rated 26.5 GHz. Max continuous voltage is 1400Vrms and 30watts at 26.5 GHz.¹ All cables were sourced from a local DoD contracting firm that liquidated their microwave laboratory equipment to make room for radio equipment upgrades, and the equipage they gave up included these cables. The cables with the black butyl dust covers are assumed new, but since we have no way of knowing for sure, we shall sell them as used, or 'New, Other'. All cables, with no exception, appear in like-new condition, with no observed repetitive mate cycling observed to the SMA connectors. While in our custody, we avoided the temptation of bending them, even though they have the remarkable ability to retain to the newly-conformed bend with no snap-back to the original bend, if any; The cable behaves as if a strand of medium-gage solid copper wire!
